THE SIDDHA, VYASA MUNIVAR’S EVERGREEN PRONOUNCEMENTS.
About 5000 years ago, the Siddha, Vyasa Munivar, the founder of the Vedas, pronounced the conditions which will exist in Kaliyuga – i.e. the period we are undergoing now. Following are the divine words from his lips:-
In kaliyuga, Marriages will become sand castles.
The fence which is supposed to be on guard will eat up the crops.
The powerful, the government.
Will be imposed heavy tax on the poor.
No sincerity in business will be scarce.
Sandiness will be in display in very household.
The lady of the household will be suffering from lack of wants.
The body and mind will be scorched at childhood. (i.e. the body of the child will become sick and corrupted in childhood)
Everywhere people will disguise as being holy. (Tyrants will destroy the nation in the name of divining.)
False accounts and murder will increase.
Duty and integrity will only be found in the books.
ENOUGH, Vyasa! ENOUGH, tell me in just one phrase that I would be condemned in kaliyuga! Cried Boomadevi (Mother earth). No Mother, Equal to the numerous sins and dosas that arise in kaliyuga, many folds of good deeds and divinity shall also belong to kaliyuga.
The divinity that you receive by ten years meditation in Kiruthayuga, you shall receive the same through one year, meditation in Therathaiyuga and the same divinity you shall receive in one month of meditation in Dhuwapurayuga.
There is one need to conduct Aswametha yagas nor need to meditate in scorching heat nor go to the jungles nor need to consume air. By chanting the name of God with full piety and praying at temples in a proper way itself is enough for the people way itself is enough for the people of kaliyuga to obtain everything good.
In the footsteps of Agattiya , a Siddha Pramparai (Siddha lineage) is going to materialise. They will live with an indestructible luminous body for several hundred years in this world.
What mankind should and what they should not do, everything will be sung and recorded as Naynakoval (Spiritual Guide) and inspire of all these, for persons who will be suffering from illness, the rare Palani Malai (Palani Mountain) divine herbs shall become useful, ends Vyasa Sidahar.
The Kiruthayuga, Therathayuga and the Dhuwapurayuga are all bygone ages in which mankind were supposed to have lived in an exalted position.
*The present age, i.e. The Kaliyuga is where mankind will face misfortunes and untold miseries as depicted by Siddha Vyasa above.
*Aswathmetha Yaga is a fire sacrifice done by Dasarathan in the epic of Ramayana.
